ABUJA: Nigerian police confirmed on Friday that two blasts in the capital near an official Independence Day celebration were caused by car bombs and eight people were killed.
“Two car bombs exploded and eight people are confirmed dead,” Abuja police spokesman Jimoh Moshood told Reuters. – Reuters
